* The classic ESP32's TWAI controller can only divide its baudrate prescaler (BRP) up to 128; this hardware limit means the ready-made timing macros for 10 kbit/s and below simply aren't compiled in (ESP-IDF only defines those rates for newer chips with a wider BRP range, like the S2/S3/C3).
The frame-duration estimate adds roughly 20% for bit-stuffing overhead — actual duration varies a bit with the data content. "Samples per bit" color: red = edges may be missed (decode unreliable), amber = marginal, green = safe resolution.
